To open the screen Customer master, click Maintain èè Sales èè "Customers" from the menu bar.

The Customer Master screen is used to record and maintain Tradelink customers. As most of the Tradelink sales are through sales outlets, the details of customers are too large to maintain. Credit customers and privileged customer details will be maintained here.

Logic of Screen :  By default the Screen is on Edit mode.

To Add CUSTOMER MASTER Detail

Click on the Icon or Press Ctrl+ N to enter in New mode. The Labels marked in Red are mandatory. Fill in the necessary Information and click on save icon or Ctrl + S to save the information.

To Modify CUSTOMER MASTER Detail

Click on the Icon or Press Ctrl+ O to enter in Edit mode. The Labels marked in Red are mandatory. Modify the necessary Information and click on save icon or Ctrl + S to save the information.

To Delete CUSTOMER MASTER Detail

Click on the Icon or Press Ctrl+ D to Delete the Information.

Note:

1 System will delete the data only if there are no transactions associated with these data.

2. Link is provided on the entire Dropdown List box with which you can Add or Modify the existing records

 

The various fields in the screen are described below:

 

 

Customer ID

To enter/select the Customer No, First character is the first letter in the customer’s first name; the remaining 5 will be a running serial number.

Abbreviation

To enter the name of the customer

Full Name

To enter the name or description of the customer

Address

To enter the 2 line address of the customer

City

To enter the emirate or city the customer is from

Country

To enter the Classification of the customer by country

Phone

To enter the Phone number

Fax

To enter the Fax number

Mobile

To enter the mobile number of the customer

Email

To enter the email address of the customer

Deleted

No transaction can be made for deleted customers.

Control Account

Default customer control account is displayed. Select/display the control account to which the customer belongs. All control a/c’s marked, as trade debtors will be displayed when the search screen is displayed. This cannot be changed if any FA transaction has been entered for the customer.

Credit Days

To enter the credit period in days extended to the customer.

Credit Limit

To enter the credit limit (in AED) extended to the customer. This is the maximum limit to which the customer may procure items, without clearing his bills. This will warn, but not stop Tradelink from making further sales to the customer, if the limit has been reached.

Contact Person

To enter the name of contact person for customer

Short Name

To enter the short name of the person whom to contact

Region Id

To select the Region of the customer

Area Id

To select Area  of the customer

Salesman Id

To select the salesman from the search window to specify the type of salesman

Term ID

To enter the Payment for the customer – Cash or Credit.

In case of Cash, Credit Period, Credit Limit and Credit Balance will be disabled. Delivery Notes and Invoice cannot be generated if the payment term is Cash. A credit customer cannot be made cash customer if balance exists.

Price Type

Two types of price types are 1. Wholesale  2.Reatail

Vat No

To enter the vat no of the customer

Account No

To enter the Bank Account no of the customer

Credit Card No

To enter the credit card no of the customer

Card Name

To enter the credit card name of the customer

Credit Card Address

To enter the address of the card

Postal Code

To enter the postal code of the customer

Expiry Month

To enter the expiry month of the card

Expiry Year

To enter the expiry Year of the card

Opening Balance

Displays the opening balance of the customer

Current Balance

Displays the current transactions balance

 

Functionality:

 

Ø        The Tab key can be used to navigate from the current column to the next in order.

ØThe Underline hyperlinked labels are used to Add/Modify/Delete respective masters.
ØThe Exit button can be used to exit from current screen /form.

 

List View for Customer Master

To open the screen LISTVIEW OF CUSTOMER MASTER, click the List View èè Sales èèCustomer from the menu bar.

List View will enable you to view all the data of Customer Master with which you can Search, Filter and export the data in XML, EXCEL, WORD, PDF, HTML, ETC. You can also Edit details of Customer Master by ‘Double Clicking’ on desired data.
